French Toast Casserole

Ingredients

Casserole
1 (10-ounce) French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes (10 cups)
8 eggs
3 cups milk
4 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping
2 tablespoons butter, cubed
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 

Directions

In a 13x9 baking dish place the cubed bread. In a medium bowl mix together the eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla extract. Pour evenly over the bread and refrigerate overnight.

Once ready to bake remove from refrigerator 30 minutes prior. Dot the top with the cubed butter. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar and evenly sprinkle over the top.

Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F. Serve with syrup, cool whip or fruit of liking.
