Pan Roasted Brussels Sprouts With Bacon

4 strips thick-cut bacon
2 tablespoons butter
1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved
1/2 large onion, chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper


In a large skillet cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and chop into small pieces. In the same pan you cooked the bacon melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add in the onions and brussels sprouts. Cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally, roughly 10 minutes. Once cooked season the brussels sprouts with salt and pepper, add in the chopped bacon. Mix together and serve immediately.
